Have It Open-faced

Burrito Gallery is a favorite destination for Downtown denizens and monthly Art Walk patrons, thanks to its fast-casual style, tasty eats and hip local art. The restaurant needed a new look with enough punch to match its growing reputation.

Drawing inspiration from masks used to celebrate the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), we designed a colorful menu that showcases all of the fresh ingredients utilized in Burrito Gallery’s menu. The “open-faced” illustration (a nod to the menu’s option to have burritos served in a bowl instead of a tortilla) is now the restaurant’s logo, and you can find it on stickers, buttons and T-shirts all over town. This design earned four Gold Addy awards at regional and district levels. Don’t worry; we haven’t let it go to our heads.
